Since it’s my birthday… you know I’m having cake 🎂
I still wanted something sweet, but making it more balanced by using real ingredients and protein, so it still helps me reach my goals.
I used @nakednutrition Naked Egg in this recipe.
It’s a clean, complete protein made from egg whites, so you’re getting all essential amino acids without any additives or artificial ingredients. It blends really well into recipes like this and works especially well for baking.
The texture comes out light and slightly sponge-like. I topped it with melted dark chocolate, a dollop of Greek yogurt, and warm fruit around the edges.
And honestly… it looks like a real dessert.
Recipe (6-inch round)
• 1 scoop Naked Egg
• 2/3 cup flour (GF 1:1 or regular)
• 1/4 cup cottage cheese
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1–2 tbsp maple syrup (adjust to taste)
• 1 tbsp melted butter
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• pinch salt
Mix wet, add dry, let sit 2–3 min
